Almost a hundred and fifty films from 35 countries are taking part in the Seventh International Children Film Festival, organized by Children’s Film Society Bangladesh. This Festival will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Barisal and Rangpur and the film will show in 12 places throughout the country. The Festival will start on 1st March and will continue until 7 March.
Festival director morsedula Islam said, “The main attraction of the festival is a competition among the film which was created by Bangladeshi children. 33 Film will be displayed in this section. Best five films will be awarded. Crest, Certificate and financial incentives will be given to the winners.
All members of Juriboard will be children. They will pick the best film. Two seminars will be arranged in the Seminar room of the Central Library on 6 March. First topic, ‘ছোটদের জন্য চলচ্চিত্র নির্মাণ: বন্ধ্যত্ব ঘুচছে না কেন?’ and the second topic will be , ‘শিশুদের ওপর দৃশ্য মাধ্যমের প্রভাব’। All the exhibition will be open to all the children and guardians.
