Film “Rajputtor” First official exhibition today
A child film “Rajputtor” has been made by Tokon Thakur. The first official exhibition will be shown today at Showkat Osman Memorial Auditorium on the occasion of the 9th International children’s film festival. The film “Rajputtor” was done based on the story of “Rajputtor’ by Rabindranath Tagore. Film financing was made by The Ministry of Culture, and produces by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. The film’s duration is approximately 51 minutes. Bhaskar Bandyopadhyay, kamaluddin Kabir, Chanchal Shoikot and 13 children were acting in this movie. For the first time, most of the children were action in this film
Tokon Thakur said, after the festival Bangladesh Shilpokola academy will take initiative to display the movie regularly.
The shooting of the film was held in the village of Dorodiya at Kapasia thana Gazipur along at Shalbon.
The movie gets clearance from the censor in December 2015. Three exhibitions of the film “Rajputtor” were shown in the Kolkata 5th International Children’s festival.
