Bishwa Ijtema started on Friday
Bishwa Ijtema started on Friday early morning after the speech of India’s Maulana Abdur Rahman. Bangladeshi Maulana Mohammad Abdul Matin translated it in Bangla. Bangladeshi Qari Mohammad Jubayer will lead the prayer of Friday Jumma prayer in the field of Ijtema.
A few millions of devotees from home and abroad took part in the convention. Tabligh Jamaat organized 1st phase Ijtema will continue until Sunday January 10. The season will end with the closing day of prayer. As it was Jumma prayer’s day without Biswa Ijtema devotees, thousand of devotees assemble at Ijtema place.
On Bishwa Ijtema, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, Markazi Shura member of Tabligh will submit statements. Although the original statement is in Urdu but it will be translated in Bengla, English, Arabic, Tamil, Malay, Turkish persian instantly. Different language people will sit separately, and one senior translates the main statement instantly and says to the others.
In the first phase,17 districts of the country are taking part in the Ijtema. The districts are Dhaka, Narayanganj, Sherpur, Madaripur, Sirajganj, Nator, Gaibandha, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Lakshmipur, Sylhet, Narail, Magura, Chittagong, Patuakhali, Bhola and Jhalokathi.
Ijtema authorities said,” on 15 January more 15 districts will take part in the second phase. Rest 32 districts devotees will take part in next year.
