Film Maker and director Ananta Jalil demanded stricter legislation against domestic film piracy. Last Sunday in front of Art departments, he demanded that, on an awareness program “Nokol Rukhbo Desh Gorbo”, organized by Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh.
He said in his word, “তোরা ভালো হওয়ায় “Most Wellcome” মুভি করেছিলাম। কিন্তু তোরা ভালো হলি না। ভাবতে বর কষ্ট লাগে”।
He also said. “If movie piracy does not stop Bangladeshi film industries will not survive. Filmmaker will be in under threat. They will stop making films. Quality film will be lost from our industry.
IPEB President Mura Bhuiya was chairing the ceremony. Borsha, IPEB General Secretary Azizur Rahman, different cultural individuals and university students have also attended the ceremony.
